Boilerplate

Short

Omega Software Solutions is an independent United States studio. It makes small finished games: a one-button stunt runner, a merge tower defense, an idle factory that bulldozes itself every day, and a horde defense where you build the field before you have to hold it. They all run in a browser.

Long

Omega Software Solutions is an independent studio in the United States. Its browser games run in a tab with nothing to download and nobody to sign in as, and each has a finished Android build that has not yet been listed on a store. Wreck Run is a one-button rocket stunt runner: hold for flips, hold too long and the rider arrives head first, and every crash site stays on the day's shared track as debris for the runs that follow. Merge Bastion is a merge tower defense whose chain of combinations ends in 276 apex towers, each with its own name. Daybreak Factory is bulldozed every morning; the player keeps one permanent perk out of the rubble and starts the floor again. Necrowave hands the player a field, some Scrap and a build timer, then sends the horde at whatever they put on the ground; the weapons fire themselves, so the only inputs are moving, dashing and one of three cards on level-up. It runs in a browser, though it is a considerably larger download than the studio’s other games. Its Android version is not released.

Wreck Run

A one-button stunt runner. Hold the button for flips, let go too late and the rider arrives head first, and the game has six names ready for how it went wrong. Every player gets the same track for the day, and every crash site is left on it as debris for the runs that follow. New track in the morning.

Necrowave

The player is one of the locals who turns up when the old Spire rings a bad note. Between waves they spend Scrap laying walls and turrets across a field; when the timer runs out they fight inside what they built. Weapons swing and burn on their own cooldowns and choose their own targets. Nobody aims. The player moves, dashes, and takes one of three cards on level-up.
